CHRONICLES OF THE PHOENIX
Chapter Complete.
Eleven days.
Thousands of faces.
Thousands of stories.
By the end of it all, I had lost my voice.
And honestly… I’d do it all again.
People often think I just serve drinks.
The drinks are only part of it.
For me, it’s always been about the person standing in front of me.
It’s about learning a name, sharing a laugh, celebrating milestones, listening when someone needs it, or simply making sure someone leaves feeling seen and appreciated.
Over these past eleven days, I know I didn’t get every interaction right. I’m human. There are moments I wish I could have given a little more time, a little more attention, or a little more energy.
But I also know there were thousands of moments where I had the privilege of making someone’s day just a little brighter.
For that, I’m grateful.
To everyone who stopped by my bar…
Thank you.
Whether you tipped a little, a lot, or simply shared a smile, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your story. I hope you left knowing you mattered, because to me, you were always more than just another order.
The next few days are for catching up on much-needed sleep, spending time with Belle Marie, creating, building, and preparing for what’s next.
Because serving people has never been confined to one bar.
Whether I’m behind the stick, helping someone find a home, building a brand, creating art, or simply encouraging someone who’s having a rough day, my purpose remains the same:
Leave people better than I found them.
I’m grateful for every person who crossed my path.
And even more grateful to the One who continues to guide mine.
Rest isn’t the end of the story.
Sometimes it’s where the next chapter begins.
See you Thursday.
